Carpentry

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when international travel and on-site support were extremely limited, Arlikan Pillars had the opportunity to support one of our valued partners – Cairo American College – in delivering a highly specialized laboratory project.

The school had procured custom wooden laboratory units from Diversified Casework (USA) to serve nine laboratories within the campus. Due to the travel restrictions at the time, the school entrusted Arlikan Pillars with the full installation of these units, with a strict requirement to adhere precisely to the manufacturer’s catalogues and technical specifications.

The challenge was significant. We were not the manufacturers of the units, and many of the technical standards – including electrical box specifications, plumbing mixers, and installation details – differed greatly from local Egyptian systems. Despite these constraints, our team conducted extensive technical research, carefully studied all supplied documentation, and sourced compatible solutions that met the original design intent.

Through meticulous coordination and execution, Arlikan Pillars successfully assembled and installed all wooden units across the nine laboratories, including complete electrical works, plumbing mixers, and marble countertops – fully aligned with the approved catalogues and specifications.

This project stands as a strong example of our team’s adaptability, technical precision, and commitment to delivering complex solutions under challenging circumstances.
